An impeller without vane leading edges

Pentair's latest innovation is designed for municipalities that opt to pass wastewater solids rather than chopping or grinding them. The patented impeller features a novel tapered conical shape with no leading vane edges on which debris collects. 

Maintaining excellent hydraulic performance

These unique features enable the impeller to pass even the most challenging solids, vastly reducing clogging while still maintaining excellent hydraulic performance. As the name implies, the impeller has an offset center to help prevent debris build-up and energy draining capacity drift. It also improves balance and reduces vibration, which further increases efficiency and extends equipment life.
